Why not improve your career opportunities today?
As one of the largest Further Education colleges in the country, Barnet College has started running a new skills programme called Forward4work. These courses are skills based training courses in various specialised sectors such as Business Accounting, Hospitality, and IT.
Forward4work training courses can help you back into work, choose a course today and:-
- Develop existing skills
- Learn new skills
- Retrain for a new sector
The courses are for anyone who has recently been made redundant or is in notice of redundancy, or for those who have been registered as unemployed for up to 12 months.
Many people find that being out of work can provide the perfect opportunity to learn new skills or further develop existing skills. Perhaps it’s just a case of wanting to achieve something you have always wanted to do but haven’t had the time.
The courses have been tailor-made to help you progress towards employment, and gaining additional skills
could make your job search easier. Courses run from one to eight weeks, on a part-time basis, generally over three days a week.
This project has been funded by the Learning & Skills Council London Region as part of its regional ESF programme.
